Sunny 'L' shaped bedroom with windows to the south and west. The dimentions are 13'x11' with a 4" square chunk out of one corner. There are two cedar lined closets and a lot of extra storage are in the basement. All utilities and laundry facility included. The room is fully furnished with a full sized bed, night stand, dresser, desk with chair, and a barrel back chair in more of a sitting area, or you can bring your own furniture. The room is wired to have two private phone lines-you would install and accept billing. We would share the single bathroom. Also shared is a large living room, huge kitchen, dining room,
sunroom, and a possible extra office in the lower level.
There is always a parking space on the street in front of the house in this sparsely populated neighborhood. There are full yard & patio privilages on a beautifully landscaped property, even a vegetable garden with many herbs. There is a cat that lives with me that generally spends most of the summer out of doors...he's goofy too.
Living here is easy going and feels like a rural street. Yet, the SouthShore Train takes you to the loop in 31minutes and the station is only three blocks from the house. Perfect for anyone working in downtown Chicago, but wants to save money, while getting a breath of fresh air. My past roomates have gone on to buy their own homes, so it is time for me to look for another goal oriented individual.
