Next possible move in date is May 18th, 2012. RATES FOR SHORT TERM RENTALS (less than three months = daily/ weekly) and double occupancy, need to be discussed on an individual basis. Located on the borders of ASTORIA PARK ... a ten minutes walking distance to the N and Q train at DITMARS BLVD. subway station... a fifteen minutes train ride to LEXINGTON AVENUE in Manhattan. The area is multicultural, quiet, safe and features plenty of stores, trendy restaurants, bars, clubs, cafes, banks, gyms and laundromats that are all within walking distance. The building has a Deli on it's ground level, convenient for last minute purchases. Security is granted by two entrance doors (street level) and a steel door that leads to the apartment. Special security locks and an intercom system are adding extra safety. The apartment is being renovated/ updated on a regular basis and features elegant hardwood floors, a nine foot ceiling and oversize windows that allow plenty of light. A large living room continues into an open kitchen (bar counter) with refrigerator (water purifying system and ice maker), microwave, brick/convection oven, commercial grade espresso maker, citrus press, and blender. The room is fully furnished including: full size bed, shelves, bed side table, desk lamp, oversize wall mirror, hamper, 19" flat-screen TV/ DVD combo (see pictures). Bedlinen and towels are provided and cleaned upon request (cost covering fee); a window A/C appliance is being installed during the summer. A security deposit (one month rent) is required. The monthly rent ($995.-) includes all basic utilities such as electricity, gas, water, unlimited high speed internet access, as well as storage space for luggage. A monthly fee of $50.- (per tenant) applies to the weekly cleaning service. The expense for the satellite TV is being split amongst all tenants (currently $25.- per TV and month); an electricity surcharge (currently $25.-per unit and month) is applicable during the A/C season (June through October); a gas surcharge (currently $50.-per room and month) is applicable during the heating season (November through April). The expenses for all cleaning products (e.g.: soap, detergents, paper towels for kitchen and bathroom, water filter, etc.) are being split amongst all tenants. CLEANLINESS and CONSIDERATION for others are our only requirement!! :)
