Its northern Manhattan if you look at a subway map look for Dyckman Street on either the A train or 1 train, however the A train station is closest to the apt (3 blocks away) It's a very safe quiet neighborhood and lots of cheap restaurants and plenty of diversity but very safe. About Inwood it's basically northern Manhattan 20 minutes from midtown and 30 minutes from downtown on the A train that runs express all the time. There is also an Express bus that stops at 207. If you drive there is always parking and in NYC that is rare
